What’s been happening? Good news and Arrests by the team.
-Officers attended Springfield Road following a phone call to the police stating they had seen suspects attempting to break into a neighbouring property. On officer’s arrival they noticed a door open on a property. As they approached the property, officers saw an internal door in the house close softly. Officers tried to open the door but there was some resistance, and they managed to put a foot in the door and get in. Two offenders were arrested from inside the property. Fantastic result
-We have been out in Rectory Lane following reports from the residents of suspicious vehicles and activities taking place. We have spoken to residents regarding their concerns, and we will be patrolling around this area as much as possible.
-We have been at Arden Hall and Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens speaking to residents and offering crime prevention advice. We have also been joined by one of our local Street Watch Volunteers. It’s been great to build the link between the residents and the police. Our Castle Bromwich Street Watch volunteers are very positive about the area and getting involved as much as they can. If you would like to join them or interested in hearing more, please get in touch.
-The team were invited to a fun day at Auckland Hall in Smiths Wood yesterday, it was a well-attended event and so lovely speaking to the members of public and getting involved. - The team were invited to an event called Under the Same Sky in Babb’s Mill Park today, it was a nice gathering where the Lord Mayor attended and got involved in some of the activities that were on.
